Employment

The aim of our employment law department is to turn employment engineering into a management tool for companies, to support human resources departments in their day-to-day work and also during exceptional operations.

We advise SMEs as well as major French and foreign companies in all fields of employment law and social security law. Because legislation and case law are particularly fluid, we are constantly on hand to advise our clients and their human resources managers to ensure that their decisions are in line with social developments. We provide them with day-to-day support in their HR strategy and risk management, both in terms of advice and litigation.

We have a strong track record in the social management of corporate restructurings: we assist our clients with all the social aspects of business transfers, mass redundancy plans and information-consultation of employee representatives, and we have built up a solid expertise in all post-reorganisation harmonisation issues.

We also rely on the firm’s other practice areas (restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, tax law) when required.

We represent and advise our clients before all French courts (conseils de prud’hommes, social security tribunals, judicial courts, administrative tribunals, appeal courts, etc.) in all types of disputes: individual, collective, and social security.

We also represent our clients before the various authorities (labour inspectorate, URSSAF, health insurance, etc.) and liaise with external service organisations if necessary.
