FTPA advised TokyWoky, a specialist in brand customer community management, on its acquisition by Skeepers, the European leader in SaaS solutions for User-Generated Content (UGC). This operation marks a significant step in the evolution of Skeepers, completing its suite of UGC solutions with the aim of strengthening its leadership in the User-Generated Content (UGC) space.
Founded in 2014 by Quentin Lebeau, Raphael Prat and Timothée Deschamps, TokyWoky is based on the idea that the majority of a brand’s business comes from a minority of its most faithful customers. The solution thus enables customers to gather and interact around their favorite products and services: through discussion groups, contests, surveys, events, product testing, gaming and more. In this way, they become active brand ambassadors.
Through its ability to engage and rally a community with polls and surveys, TokyWoky facilitates real-time data collection. A vital asset for brands to design products that are as close as possible to consumers’ expectations.
Active in 12 countries, TokyWoky works with major international brands such as Sephora, Carrefour, Leroy Merlin, L’Oréal and Lancôme.
With the acquisition of TokyWoky, Skeepers continues its external growth strategy, consolidating its one-stop-shop offering. This acquisition will enable the European leader in UGC to strengthen its position and enrich its suite of SaaS solutions.
For Skeepers, this merger’s primarly focus is to empower its customers to leverage their consumer communities, enhancing revenue and expanding UGC production.
FTPA assisted Tokywoky on corporate aspects with François-Xavier Beauvisage (partner) and Julien Garanger (associate), on tax aspects with a team comprising Nicolas Message (partner), François-Xavier Cochenet and Julie Bianchi (associates) and in employment law with Laure Calice (partner) and Marine Claisse (associate).
