FTPA advised NextStage AM and Adopt Parfums in connection with Arkéa Capital’s entry into the brand’s shareholding structure. Through this transaction, Arkéa Capital joins the group of longstanding shareholders, including NextStage AM—which retains its majority stake—alongside the team of entrepreneurs led by Frédéric Stoeckel. The investment aims to accelerate Adopt Parfums’ growth in France and expand its international footprint.

Founded in 1986 in Cestas (Gironde) by Dominique Monlun, Adopt Parfums has become the leading fragrance brand in France by volume. Supported by NextStage AM and the Loyez family since 2015, the brand is behind the ‘French Fragrance Revolution’. Today, it offers over 150 original eaux de parfum, all designed and manufactured in France using exceptional raw materials.

To support its growth, Adopt Parfums invested in a production facility in 2023, located in Château-Renard, at the heart of the Cosmetic Valley, with a production capacity target of 50 million bottles by 2028. With over 375 points of sale and more than 20 million customers, the brand generated revenue exceeding 170 million euros in 2024.

FTPA advised NextStage AM and Adopt Parfums on the corporate aspects, with François-Xavier Beauvisage, Partner, Julien Garanger, Aude Verdier, and Nicolas Arathimos. Sophie Jouniaux, Partner, and François-Xavier Cochenet provided expertise in tax law, while Pierre Chatelain, Partner at Chatelain Avocats, assisted with certain financing aspects.
