Trust

More than ten years ago, FTPA supported the ad hoc creation of a Fiduciary Law practice by one of its partners, Bruno Robin, joined by Romain Lantourne. For obvious reasons of confidentiality and absence of conflicts of interest, FTPA wanted this practice to be totally independent.

As pioneers in this field in France, we work with our clients on trust matters, both as advisers and as trust lawyers.

Our dedicated team, led by Bruno Robin, a recognised practitioner in this field and one of the very first to take on the role of trustee, for which he is one of only two French lawyers to hold a specialist certificate, has been behind some of the most emblematic trusts already set up, whether in the context of insolvency proceedings or the prevention of business distress, or in that of wealth management, business transfers or the protection of vulnerable people.

Bruno Robin, who co-founded the university diploma in fiduciary law in which he teaches along with his partner Romain Lantourne, is a director of both the Association Française des Fiduciaires and the Association des Avocats Fiduciaires. Bruno Robin and Romain Lantourne play an active role in promoting trusts through their numerous speeches, conferences and publications. For example, they have had the honour of improving the knowledge of this institution among magistrates at the Paris financial centre, as well as among commercial court judges.
