FTPA Welcomes Emmanuel de Marcellus as Partner in the Intellectual Property Department

FTPA is proud to announce the appointment of Emmanuel de Marcellus as a partner in its Intellectual Property department. A distinguished expert in patent law, Emmanuel joins the firm with Camille Boillet, further strengthening FTPA’s capabilities in industrial property to better serve its clients’ evolving needs.

With a postgraduate degree in Industrial Property from the University of Panthéon-Assas, Emmanuel has built an impressive career spanning over 25 years. His journey includes tenures at leading firms such as Linklaters and co-founding the boutique firm de Marcellus & Disser. Renowned for his strategic counsel, Emmanuel has successfully supported major industrial groups, SMEs, and start-ups across industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, and chemistry. Recognized by top-tier legal rankings including Chambers, The Legal 500, JUVE, and IP STARS, Emmanuel also teached at the Institut Catholique de Paris and regularly speaks at key industry events like CEIPI’s Anti-Counterfeiting Day.

In his new role, Emmanuel will focus on helping industrial clients optimize and protect their intellectual assets, with a particular emphasis on patents and trademarks. Camille Boillet, who brings five years of experience in intellectual property and is recognized as a “Rising Star” by IP STARS, will work alongside him in this endeavor.
