FTPA advised Swedish defence and security company Saab on its strategic €11.1 million investment in Comand AI, representing a 10% equity stake.
Comand AI is a French company developing AI-based command solutions for defence applications.
The transaction will support Saab’s next-generation command and control capabilities and contribute to strategic programmes, including GlobalEye, as well as other multi-domain command initiatives.
Saab is a leading defence and security company with operations in more than 30 countries and approximately 28,000 employees. The group develops, manufactures and maintains advanced systems across the air, land, naval, command and control, sensor and underwater sectors.
