Robert Corcos began his career in 1984 serving as head of the legal department of an industrial company operating in the energy and nuclear sector, and later in a company in the telecommunications sector. He worked for five years during which he gained deep insight into the business world. In the capacity of in-house counsel and head of the legal department, Robert Corcos gained expertise in Corporate and Commercial Law (drafting and negotiating contracts in France and internationally).
He holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Law – English and North American law and a Master’s certificate in International Business Law both from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University. Since his admission to the Paris Bar in 1990, he has been leading a team of associates experienced in offering advice and handling litigation in Business Law matters. He advises on issues concerning business establishment, acquisitions, negotiations for shareholder agreements, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in France and internationally.
He regularly represents French and foreign companies before French courts and arbitration tribunals. He has gained significant experience in court reports, which he applies when advising companies and their insurance companies on Construction and Industrial Risks.
In 2022, Robert Corcos was named a « Leading Individual » in Construction by The Legal 500 EMEA .
