FTPA advised Stoïk, the European insurtech specialising in cyber risk prevention and insurance solutions for SMEs and mid-sized companies, on its €20 million Series C funding round. The transaction reflects the continued confidence of Stoïk’s existing investors and the long-term strategic commitment of a new investor.
The round marks the arrival of Impala, the investment fund owned by the Veyrat family, alongside Opera Tech Ventures, a long-standing investor in Stoïk, with renewed participation from Alven and Andreessen Horowitz.
Founded less than five years ago, Stoïk has already surpassed 10,000 SMEs and mid-sized companies insured and protected across Europe. The funding will enable the company to strengthen its proprietary artificial intelligence capabilities, accelerate its European expansion, and further its ambition to become Europe’s leading Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) platform.
FTPA advised Stoïk on the corporate aspects of the transaction with a team comprising Charles-Philippe Letellier, Partner, Aude Verdier, Associate, Julien Garanger, Associate, and Anita Lebas Vujic, Paralegal.
