This acquisition marks the launch of ARCHIMED’s MED Rise fund.
ARCHIMED, a global private equity specialist in the healthcare sector, has announced the acquisition of FIM Medical, the market leader in therapeutic medical devices for occupational health, via its MED Rise fund. Based in Lyon, France, FIM Medical boasts a diverse, cutting-edge product range in the fields of vision, hearing and breathing care, leveraging its proprietary technologies in both medical devices and software.
FIM Medical is the French market leader in the field of occupational health, with its main product lines – vision testers, audiometers and spirometers – and has successfully expanded into Europe and the United States.
FTPA advised ARCHIMED in the audit and tax structuring of this transaction, with a team led by partners Sophie Jouniaux and Nicolas Message, with the support of François-Xavier Cochenet, associate.
