In its July 2022 issue, Lexbase Avocats magazine presents the second episode of its series on “The new activities of the lawyer” dedicated this month to the lawyer as trustee.

Departing from the institutions of the same family as the Anglo-Saxon inspired trusts, the latest development, the French trust, has reserved the status of trustee, on the one hand, to organizations of the banking, insurance or financial world and, on the other hand, to lawyers who wish to practice, on the bangs of their profession of lawyer and independently of this practice, the profession of trustee.
