Matthieu de Calbiac is an associate in the Antitrust team since 2021.
He has experience in antitrust litigation, including in the context of proceedings initiated by the French Competition Authority and has been involved in a landmark case involving parental liability.
Matthieu has also developed particular experience in EU state aid matters, specifically in the transport sector (railways and airline industry).
He is referenced as a “Key Lawyer” of FTPA’s Antitrust practice by The Legal 500 EMEA and The Legal 500 Paris. One client underlined his “availability, mastery of legal issues and interest and knowledge of our company’s business sector”.
Matthieu is a graduate of Paris II Panthéon-ASSAS university and has a master’s degree in European Business Law.
