She later went on to practice in an international law firm based in Washington D.C. for a period of two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She joined the insurance department of the same group and served for seven years as Risk Manager. During this period, she gained expertise in negotiating and managing of insurance warranties and claims. She was later in charge of issues pertaining to intellectual property, real estate and labor law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She developed expertise in matters relating to commercial and litigation contracts, including arbitration contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Bouchard holds a Master\u2019s degree in business law from Paris I University (1986), a Master\u2019s certificate in law from Paris II University (1985).
