Graduated from the French “Ecole Nationale des Impôts” (Tax administration school), Marie-Hélène Lapp is a former Senior French tax administration official who has extensive experience managing tax audits and tax litigations. She began her career as Inspector-Auditor and was then appointed as Senior tax inspector beside the “Division des Vérifications Nationales et Internationales” (French Tax Administration National and International Audit Office). She also served for many years in this service as Divisional Director in charge of the Tax Audit Division.
Marie-Hélène Lapp’s practice is oriented toward corporate taxation, specifically in the finance, banking and insurance sector though its extensive career within the French Tax administration brought her to practice personal as well as top-management taxation.
In addition, she served as “Interlocuteur départemental” (Local tax conciliator), responsible for settling disputes between the Tax administration and taxpayers within a Tax service in Paris.
Finally, she has a strong experience in tax collection procedure as she was a former accounting manager.
Since 2011, Marie-Hélène Lapp is a Tax Law lecturer at the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas.
She joined FTPA in May 2012 and is member of the Paris Bar since 20th of December, 2012.
