After having started his career at FTPA in 1997 then spent 7 years as partner at Jeantet, Guillaume Berruyer decided to return to FTPA to head the banking and financial services department of the firm.
He has acquired nearly 20 years’ experience in the area of banking and financial regulatory work. He regularly advises financial and banking/investment service providers and institutions both on regulatory aspects and preparing and adapting their business documentation. Guillaume also assists in all areas of banking/financial litigation, before disciplinary authorities (Sanctions Commission of the French AMF or ACPR) and Courts.
Guillaume was admitted as Avocat to the Paris bar in 1997, and holds a degree in private law « Maîtrise en Droit Privé » (University of Paris-II), a Masters’ degree (DEA) in Criminal law (University of Paris-II) and a Masters’ degree (DESS) in Litigation and Arbitration (University of Paris-II).
